Funeral services for a Marshall University student who was murdered will be held Saturday at the Point Pleasant National Guard Armory.

Funeral director Charlie Huber with Deal Funeral Home says the funeral for Leah Hickman will be held at the armory because nearly 1,000 people are expected to attend.

The 21-year-old journalism major was last seen December 14. Investigators found her body in a basement crawl space in the Huntington apartment building where she lived on December 21.

No arrests have been made and police have not released a cause of death.
